I built SILKSOUND around a simple idea: the room matters as much as the gear in it. As a producer, mixer and mastering engineer, I work with artists who want their records to sound like themselves, not like a template.
I want to hear a song before it's been tidied up.
Most of what comes through the door starts as a voice memo. That's usually where the truth of it lives. From there it's arrangement, performance, sound, and a lot of listening back.
The same things whether I'm behind the desk for someone else or for my own music: honest performances, strong melodies, and production that serves the emotion instead of getting in its way. Remote is normal here, not a compromise — most records I make never see the inside of a studio that isn't mine.
